Monitoring and Evaluation Framework
The Brief
The Client provides Independent Advocacy to adults living in within one of the Scottish local authority areas. They prioritise working with people who have particular support needs: Acquired Brain Injury; Addictions; Autism Spectrum; Additional Communication Needs; Dementia; Learning Disability; Mental Health; Older people; Physical Disability; and Sensory Impairment.
The Monitoring and Evaluation Framework to be developed, needed to meet the organisation and service needs and be capable of providing the Client and its key partners with a robust base of evidence in support of the key outcomes that it delivers and the impact their activities and services have for individuals, families, communities and key stakeholders.
Outcome measurement and impact reporting has become one of the most important activities that organisations undertake. There are several compelling reasons to measure outcomes:
- Putting the needs of Individuals, Families, Service Users and Stakeholders at the heart of service development
- Measuring the effectiveness of a programme or intervention.
- Identifying effective practices.
- Identifying practices that need improvement.
- Proving your value to existing and potential funders.
- Getting clarity and consensus around the purpose of your programme or activity.
Key Client Objectives:
- Develop a Monitoring and Evaluation Framework and Plan which will set out a clear and robust framework/approach which is sustainable and can be incorporated into routine organisational activities.
- The approach will ensure that rigorous evidence is gathered and reported to ensure the Client can prove the impact and value of their work and continually improve services and activities in the future.
